The Lifelong Learning Center at University of Alkafeel , in cooperation with the Najaf Health Department, concluded its first aid training course on Monday, 13 July 2026. The course, held under the patronage of the University President, Prof.Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahhan, was attended by university staff , students, participants from outside the university.
The course included theoretical lectures and practical training sessions presented by Dr. Alaa Baqir Hassan, Dr. Karim Jabr Al-Zubaidi, and trainer Ahmed Jassim Dawood. The training focused on the fundamentals of first aid and emergency response techniques to enhance rapid response in field situations.
The Director of the Lifelong Learning Center at University of Alkafeel , Asst.Prof. Dr. Ahmed Baqir Redha, confirmed that the course is part of the preparations for the Arba'een and aims to train a team of volunteers to participate in the medical units managed by the university. These units will provide health and ambulance services to pilgrims visiting the shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), thus contributing to supporting service efforts and enhancing the readiness of volunteers. This course falls under the Lifelong Learning Center programs to develop practical skills, instill a culture of volunteerism, and strengthen the community role in serving society and religious occasions.
