University of Alkafeel Proceeds with Its Training Series with Lecture on Health and Vocational Safety

     Through its Lifelong Learning Center, University of Alkafeel  continues its series of training courses : "Developing Administrative, Digital and Cognitive Skills," which are being held as of 4 -18 July 2026, with the participation of a select group of university faculty members, reflecting the commitment of the university to developing the skills of its academic and administrative staff.

     On Wednesday, 15 July 2026, an awareness lecture : " Health and Vocational Safety" was presented by Asst. Prof.Dr. Amir Sadiq Al-Adhari, Vice-Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies. The lecture aimed to raise awareness of the importance of implementing safety procedures and preventing risks in the university work environment.

    The lecturer addressed the concept of health and vocational safety and its role in protecting employees, students, visitors, and property, as well as reducing accidents, injuries, and occupational diseases, thus contributing to a safe and healthy university environment.

    He also reviewed the most prominent types of hindrances the employees may face, methods of prevention, and the hierarchy of risk control, starting with hazard removal or replacement, moving through engineering and administrative controls, and ending with the use of personal protective equipment. The series of courses is expected to conclude on Saturday, 18 July 2026, with a final exam for participants to assess program outcomes and fulfill graduation requirements.

     These courses are part of the effort the University of Alkafeel commences to develop the capabilities of its staff, instill a culture of continuous improvement, and prepare qualified personnel with the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance institutional performance and promote a safe and sustainable work environment.
