On Sunday, 9 August 2026, University of Alkafeel received a delegation from the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine : Engr. Haider Jaloukhan, Mr. Mustafa Al-Falfal, and Mr. Samer Hassan Al-Safi, Director of the Al-Kafeel Center for IT at University of Alkafeel , to follow up on joint cooperation and the development of digital educational services.
Meeting the Vice-Chancellor for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, they discussed mechanisms for developing and activating the Al-Siraj educational platform for the 2026-2027 academic year and followed up on the points raised during the previous meeting to enhance the educational process and facilitate the student access to academic services. Several points were tackled : the development of platform services related to lectures, course materials, official announcements, exam schedules, the tracking of the results, grades, assignments, attendance, and absences, and enhancing the academic communication between students and instructors.
Such a meeting comes within the framework of ongoing coordination and cooperation to develop digital solutions that support the educational process, keeping pace with the latest developments in e-learning.
