The fifth training course of the Ministry's program for training trainers of the IQ-Learn platform, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, commenced today, Sunday, 6 September 2026, at  the University of Alkafeel . The course is sponsored by the Undersecretary for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Haider Abdul Dhahd, and includes 126 trainees from various public and private universities in the Middle Euphrates region.  The presence of the ministerial team cast an inspiring light over the gathering .

The opening ceremony was attended by the President of University of Alkafeel , Prof.Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, several professors from Iraqi universities participating in the course and members of the ministerial team.

The course began with the opening ceremony, then a recitation of certain ayats from Glorious Quran and the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah in remembrance of the martyrs of Iraq. There was a video presentation introducing the IQ-Learn platform, highlighting its objectives, capabilities, and role in supporting university education. The event also featured a speech by Dr. Salah Mahdi Al-Shujairi, representing the ministerial team, who addressed the program's importance in preparing trainers capable of transferring the skills and expertise pertinent to the smart learning platform to teaching staff at Iraqi universities.

For his part, Professor Al-Dahan, President of University of Alkafeel , welcomed the participants and members of the ministerial team, highlighting the ongoing technological and infrastructural development at the university and the support it receives from the Holy Abbas Shrine to keep pace with modern scientific and technological advancements.

     More enthusiastically ,Prof.Dr. Al-Dahan emphasized the commitment of the university to providing world-class services using national methods and resources, and by Iraqi expertise, thereby strengthening the presence of Iraqi educational institutions in the field of technological and scientific development and supporting the creation of a university environment that meets the demands of modern education.

The program aims to prepare competent and certified trainers for the smart learning platform (IQ-Learn) and enhance the capabilities of academic staff in the field of digital education, contributing to the expansion of the use of smart technologies and platforms in the university educational process.

The training program activities will continue at University of Alkafeel  until 9/9/2026, with the participation of a select group of teachers and academics from public and private universities in the Middle Euphrates region.
