On Sunday, 6 September 2026, the Deanship of the College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel  held an academic and orientation meeting with faculty members. Coinciding with the start of the 2026–2027 academic year, the meeting aimed to enhance communication and unify efforts in preparation for the requirements of the upcoming phase.

The meeting began with an expression of gratitude and appreciation to the faculty members, acknowledging their efforts and contributions during the previous academic year. Discussions covered several key topics regarding the development of educational and research performance and the enhancement of the academic environment.

The Deanship emphasized the importance of maintaining a team spirit and fostering cooperation and coordination between faculty members and the administration. Such collaboration is essential to achieving the objectives of the college and the future vision in alignment with modern medical education requirements and standards of quality and academic accreditation.

Intense attention was also placed on the importance of effective preparation for the new academic year , the continuous development of educational and research processes, and supporting the initiatives designed to elevate academic performance and enhance the quality of medical education.

The meeting concluded with a set of recommendations : strengthening the ongoing communication and coordination between the Deanship and faculty members; maintaining collaborative efforts; and improving the quality of educational and research performance in accordance with quality and academic accreditation standards . Such serves to advance the college and help realize its future vision and objectives.
