Minds United, Horizons Expanded: The Closing Chapter of the IQ-Learn Journey at Alkafeel

The fifth training course for trainers of the Smart Learning Platform (IQ-Learn) concluded today, Wednesday, 9 September 2026, at University of Alkafeel . Organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under the patronage of the Scientific Deputy, Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahad, the course saw the participation of 126 trainees from various private and public universities across the Middle Euphrates region.

The closing events were attended by the President of University of Alkafeel , Prof. Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, and his Vice-Chancellor for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali . The turnout covered the ministerial team supervising the course , a number of participating faculty members and academics.

The program included a final examination for the trainees to assess their acquisition of knowledge and skills related to the IQ-Learn platform and to measure their readiness to train teaching staff in using the platform.

At the conclusion of the course, University of Alkafeel  President Prof. Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the participants and the supervising ministerial team. He commended their efforts and commitment to enhancing their capabilities in digital education, stressing the importance of such training programs in promoting the use of modern technologies and elevating the standard of university education.

A group photo was also taken featuring the University President, the Assistant for Scientific Affairs, the supervising ministerial team, and the participating trainees to document the four-day program. The course was held as part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's efforts to develop the capabilities of academic staff and promote the use of the smart learning platform (IQ-Learn) across Iraqi universities, thereby supporting the digital transformation process and boosting the quality of university education.
