The Deanship of the College of Dentistry at University of Alkafeel, led by the Dean, Asst.Prof. Dr. Karim Maktoof Atiya, held a meeting with faculty members on Saturday, 12 September 2026, to discuss academic preparations for the 2026–2027 academic year.
The meeting began by welcoming the faculty , expressing appreciation for their efforts during the 2025–2026 academic year, particularly the completion of examination-related tasks and committee work, and acknowledging how these efforts contributed to the smooth and orderly conduct of the educational process.
Discussions focused on scientific and academic preparations for the upcoming year, emphasizing the completion of academic and research plans according to established timelines and adherence to ministerial directives. These measures aim to enhance the quality of academic performance and ensure an effective, organized start to the academic year. Also the meeting addressed the importance of strengthening the academic and educational role of faculty members, supporting students, and providing a suitable learning environment. Additionally, the discussion highlighted the significance of engaging with media and digital activities and boosting the college's presence on social media platforms.
The meeting concluded with a review of faculty opinions and proposals on the development of the educational process, as well as a discussion on ways to support the requirements for a successful academic year and elevate the standard of academic performance within the college.
