On Saturday, 26 September 2026, the College of Pharmacy at University of Alkafeel celebrated World Pharmacist Day 2026 by hosting a student-led scientific event. The occasion was attended by the University President, Prof. Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan; the Scientific Assistant, Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali; and a number of faculty members and students. The event featured interactive stations and scientific competitions for fourth- and fifth-year students, covering topics such as medication safety and pharmaceutical practice, in addition to the recitation of the "Oath of a Pharmacist."
The event included an awards ceremony for the winning team and participants, while also highlighting the importance of fostering professional identity among pharmacy students, developing their scientific and practical skills, and emphasizing the pharmacist's role in healthcare and community service.
