On Monday, 12 October 2026, the College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel hosted an awareness lecture in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Farah Al-Shadidi, an oncologist based in the United Kingdom.
The presentation addressed the critical importance of early breast cancer detection, the identification of key warning signs, and the role of health awareness in both prevention and improving treatment outcomes. The lecture featured active engagement from the attendees, with an exchange of questions and information regarding early detection, an initiative aimed at fostering health awareness, encouraging early screening, and promoting overall health consciousness.
