On Tuesday, 13 October 2026, the Faculty of Pharmacy at University of Alkafeel held a practical workshop : "Professional Pharmaceutical Skills Enhanced by Artificial Intelligence and the Development of Modern Career Opportunities." The workshop was presented by Prof.Dr. Hussein Abdul-Kadhim from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Kufa.
The workshop covered the applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in the pharmaceutical disciplines, including the use of AI models for project development and the analysis of pharmaceutical data. It also explored pharmaceutical marketing, the role of automation and robotics in the pharmaceutical sector, and the new professional opportunities created by these modern technologies.
The workshop aimed to introduce students, graduates, and faculty members to the practical applications of AI in advancing the profession, while enhancing their readiness for future-oriented skills and helping them explore new career paths.
