Under the patronage and in the presence of the President of University of Alkafeel, Prof. Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, and the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali , various college deans and their deputies, the Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the university held a celebratory event today, Monday, 19 October 2026, to mark World Anesthesia Day.
The event featured outstanding presentations and contributions from the department students : scientific and practical stations showcasing the latest anesthesia equipment and instruments, academic posters and interactive activities. A meaningful dramatic performance was also presented, illustrating the pivotal humanitarian and medical role of anesthesia specialists in safeguarding the lives and well-being of patients within operating rooms.
On this occasion, the Head of the Department of Anesthesia Techniques, Prof. Dr. Israa Abdul-Amir Falih, expressed her pride and appreciation for the high level of scientific knowledge, professional skills, and creativity of the students.
