On Tuesday, 20 October 2026, the Dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Kafeel University, Asst.Prof.Dr. Samer Makki Al-Hakkak, affirmed the ongoing commitment of the college to advancing its curricula and training methods. This includes adopting state-of-the-art, simulation-based medical education tools, designed to provide students with a comprehensive and safe learning environment within a "virtual hospital."
Dr. Al-Hakkak stated that the adoption of simulation-based training is part of the comprehensive strategy of the college to develop their clinical skills, enabling them to perform various medical procedures with high efficiency before transitioning to actual clinical settings.
He added that the virtual hospital provides an interactive environment that accurately simulates real-world medical scenarios, allowing students to train using the latest technologies and modern equipment. This contributes to improving the quality of educational outcomes and enhancing safety standards for both students and patients.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the administration of the college and the university to keeping pace with the rapid advancements in modern medical education, and their persistent efforts to prepare qualified medical professionals equipped with the practical experience necessary to serve the community.
