A delegation from the University of Mosul visited University of Alkafeel  to offer condolences on the passing of Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdul-Sahib Saad Jabran, Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department at the university. The delegation reflected on his academic career and his significant scientific and administrative contributions to the university sector. The delegation included Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Walid, Vice-Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Environmental Sciences, Asst.Prof. Dr. Hazem Jumaa, Head of the Department of Environmental Technologie , and Professor Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim, Head of the Department of Environmental Sciences. The delegation conveyed the condolences of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences to University of Alkafeel , expressing deep sorrow and grief over this painful loss.

The visit included a meeting with the deans of the faculties at University of Alkafeel , during which the delegation offered their sincere condolences and sympathy. They emphasized the profound scientific and human bonds connecting the two academic institutions and paid tribute to the significant scholarly and administrative legacy left by the deceased throughout his academic career.

The delegation also conveyed that the staff at the University of Mosul had performed the “Salat al-Gha'ib” ,funeral prayer in absentia,  for the late Dr. Abdul Sahib Jubran—a gesture reflecting their loyalty to his memory and appreciation for his professional journey, praying that Allah the Almighty might bestow His vast mercy upon him and grant him a place in His spacious gardens.

Furthermore, the delegation visited the family of the deceased in Najaf Al-Ashraf to offer their condolences and sympathy. They conveyed their shared grief and the condolences of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, praying that Allah the Almighty would grant patience and solace to his family and loved ones.

For its part, University of Alkafeel  expressed its gratitude and appreciation to the delegation from the University of Mosul for this gracious initiative, which embodies the ties of communication and solidarity between academic institutions and reflects noble human values in supporting the family and colleagues of the deceased.
