On Wednesday, 4 November 2026, the College of Medical and Health Technologies at University of Alkafeel hosted a scientific lecture : "Immunological Challenges against Parasites." The lecture was delivered by Asst. Prof. Mohammed Redha Al-Sharifi in the laboratories of the Medical Laboratory Technologies Department.
The lecture addressed the primary challenges the immune system faces in countering parasitic infections, while outlining the mechanisms of the immune response and the interaction between the immune system and parasites. This initiative aims to enhance the scientific knowledge of the students and deepen their understanding of concepts related to immunology and parasitology within their academic field.
