1- Effects of Ghrelin Hormone on Serum Estrogens and Progesterone Levels in the Female Rats. (2013). Basrah journal of veterinary research.
To investigate effect of ghrelin hormone on serum estrogens and progesterone levels in the female rats. Twenty non-pregnant female Wistar rats had been divided into two groups, a control one and treated. Each animal in the treated group was injected with a daily intraperitoneal dose of 10 microgram ghrelin hormone dissolved in 0.2ml of physiological saline, for twenty respective days. Statistical analysis showed a significant increase in serum estrogen and progesterone level in treated group when compared with the control.

2-Resistin Effects on serum lipid levels in male rats. (2013). It is published by Kufa medical journal.
This investigation aimed to find out the relationship between resistin hormone and serum lipid (cholesterol and triglyceride) concentration in male rats. To perform that purpose thirty male rats were separated into two groups, experimental group and control group. Each rat in the experimental group received a daily intraperitoneal dose of 25 microgram resistin for fifteen consecutive days. Statistical analysis demonstrated significant increase in the levels of cholesterol and triglyceride.

3-Effects of adiponectin on the plasma growth hormone level in male rats. (2010). Kufa journal of Veterinary medical sciences. VOL.1 NO.1
For study of effects of adiponectin hormone on the plasma growth hormone level in the male rats, thirty male rats were divided into two equal groups. A dose of 20 microgram of adiponectin had been given to each individual in the first group (treatment group) for fifteen successive days. Level of plasma growth hormone has been measured and compared with control group. A significant increase was observed.

4-Effect of adiponectin hormone on the serum testosterone level in male rats. (2010).
Adiponectin is a newly discovered hormone released by adipocytes. Kufa medical journal. VOL.13 NO.2
This study has aimed to determine the effect of intraperitoneal administration of adiponectin hormone on the serum testosterone level in male rats. Daily injections of 20 microgram of adiponectin were given to 10 adult male rats for 20 successive days. Serum testosterone was measured on 21st of experiment by using VIDAS testosterone kit. Results gave a significant increase of serum testosterone level (p ˂0.05) in comparison with a control group.
