Under the aegis of Chancellor of Alkafeel University, Prof. Dr. Nawras Aldahan, the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the university managed a set of events to celebrate the International Day for Tolerance. One of these events is an intellectual symposium on the concept of “tolerance”.
Moreover, the ceremony cuddles a balloon release in which all the university colleges students take an interest.
The unleashed balloons take shape of the colors of the Iraqi flag as an expression of national identity and pride. The university embraces such activities to consolidate the principles of tolerance and acceptance of the other for the students and its belief in the need for the academic community to adopt such principles and to spread both awareness and knowledge of rejecting extremist violence.
