The Faculty of Dentistry at university of Alkafeel, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, delivered , on Monday morning,27 March 2023, at the Seminar Hall, a lecture : "The Impact of Bad Oral Habits on the Child and the Role of Parents in Avoiding Them",
Lectur. Dr. Muayad Fadhel Zwain , in the lecture, elucidates the habits that a child can acquire could affect his healthy growth and have bad effects such as wrong swallowing, finger sucking and tongue thrusting and incorrect mouth breathing, which greatly affect functions. Furthermore, the causes and methods of treatment were discussed .One of the major recommendations is that attention should be called and awareness in this regard should be spread .
