The University of Alkafeel organized in the event hall building on Tuesday 16 May 2023,the commemoration of the martyrdom of the sixth imam, Imam Jaafar Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him),  in the presence of the university respected chancellor , Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan , deans , academics and personnel .

    The condolence session began with a recitation of the Glorious Quran by Mr. Muhannad Al-Mayali, the Glorious Quran Institute head in Al-Najaf pertinent to the Holy Al-`Abbas Shrine . Then, His Eminence Sheikh Hafez Al-Dujaili, “May his blessings last,” ascended the pulpit, where he touched on the aspects of his blessed life (peace be upon him) and the harassment of the Abbasids, by Al-Mansur Al-Dawaniqi from time to time until being poisoned (may His prayers be upon him).

The preacher narrated that the Imam (peace be upon him) took advantage of the Abbasid preoccupation with the remnants of the Umayyad state to spread various sciences and the light of knowledge in the Islamic world and the human world to reform the human mind in a solid way for the perfection of a faithful society . In time , the imam confronted the phenomenon of deviant intellectual currents , in particular the waves that wreaked havoc on religion.

    The Mourning session concluded with poetic verses that portray his oppression (peace be upon him) that befell him by the sultans of the Abbasid government until being poisoned to be in the bevy of his grandfather, the Messenger of Allah , may Allah bless him and his family, as oppressed and as a martyr . there is neither power nor strength except with Him , the Highest , the Greatest .
