On Tuesday 22 August 2023 the Presidency of Al-Kafeel University organized a training course in collaboration with a team from the Health Directorate of Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf , Department of Medical Operations and Emergency Services, to train students of primary studies at the university in preparation for providing medical services in the medical camps at the university in Mowkib to serve the visitors of Abi Abdullah Al-Hussein , peace be upon him, in the hall of the Faculty of Medicine for two days.

    The course was delivered by a specialized team from the Health Department of Al-Najaf to introduce and train students on the importance of first aid to save the life of people and remove the risk of death from them, especially in emergency cases that require  urgent intervention to save the life of the injured person and prevent any serious complications until his arrival to the hospital for appropriate treatment.

    The course included two sides, theoretical and practical , as the lecturer conducted a scenario designed to teach the students skills and procedures on how to deal with the patient from the perspective of the first aid. It is to help the students to provide health services in the medical camps at the university mowkib .

    In this regard, the chancellor , Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, addressed the dean of the College of Medicine at Al-Kafeel University to organize a training course on “First Aid” in coordination with the Red Crescent Society, Najaf branch, to serve the Arba’een visit of Imam Hussein ,peace be upon him, on Thursday 24 August 2023 for a day from the announcement date , with the participation of the students of the medical group to acquire technical skills and methods to save patients and reduce the severity of injuries until being admitted to a hospital care.
