The head of the Clinical Pharmacy Branch at the College of Pharmacy affiliated with University of Alkafeel gave a scientific lecture based on an invitation from the Middle Euphrates Teaching Hospital, Najaf Health Department, on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. The lecture titled Antibiotics Resistance: An Emerging Threat to National Security was attended by an academic elite and researchers from doctors, pharmacists, and staff from the Najaf Health Department. It reviewed the strategic approaches necessary to avoid the spread of bacterial resistance to antibiotics that have recently emerged due to the unjustified use of these important and life-saving medical substances. At the end of the scientific lecture, the hospital director presented a letter of appreciation to the lecturer, commending his important role in promoting the optimal use of antibiotics.
