On Wednesday morning, 5 June 2024, the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at Al-Kafeel University organized a mourning session to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Muhammad Al-Jawad (peace be upon him). The session was attended by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan,  deans of colleges, faculty members, department directors, and university employees.

   The session started by reciting a verse from the Glorious Quran by seid. Muhannad Al-Mayali, Director of the Glorious Quran Institute of the Holy Abbas Shrine in Najaf. Then where was a lecture delivered by seid. Jaafar Al-Murouj to touched on the chronicle of Imam Muhammad Al-Jawad (peace be upon him), reviewing his noble life and the injustice he incurred from the Abbasid state, and explaining his constant interaction with his community and meeting the needs of the people. Al-Murouj pointed out that Imam Muhammad Al-Jawad (peace be upon him), despite the short period of his life that did not exceed twenty-five years, left a rich and multi-disciplinary scientific and intellectual legacy behind , defying the difficult circumstances that surrounded him and his adherents .

The mourning session concluded by reading poems and elegies recalling the calamity of the martyrdom of the Imam (peace be upon him),in an atmosphere of grief prevalent in the place .

May Allah grant him peace in the day he was born, in the day he was martyred and in the day,he raised from the dead .
