The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at the College of Medical and Health Technology organized, on Monday 10/21/2024, an educational guidance lecture targeting sophomore year students in the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology. The lecture was delivered by Asst. Prof.Dr. Hussam Ali Hassan Al-Obaidi, Director of the Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation , where he addressed the topic of "Social Problems in the University Environment".
The lecture focused on several social issues affecting university students : poor relationships between colleagues, and how to deal with social pressures that may negatively affect educational performance. Al-Obaidi also urged the need to avoid spreading rumors and gossip that lead to disputes between colleagues, stressing the importance of building a mature university personality capable of academic and social excellence.
This lecture aims to enhance social awareness between students and help them develop skills to deal with others effectively, which contributes to creating a healthy educational environment that enhances success and excellence at all levels.
