On Monday, 6 October 2025, the Anesthesia Technology Department at the College of Medical and Health Technology at University of Alkafeel held a distinguished workshop for faculty members and students. The workshop, led by a group of instructors, aimed to develop practical skills and enhance practical understanding of clinical procedures in an organized educational environment.
The workshop focused on training students on how to properly and safely form and handle cannulas, explaining the different types of cannulas and their uses, and clarifying the basic steps for setting them according to the occupational safety standards to ensure accurate and effective practical skills.
The training included direct practical application under the supervision of professors. Students practiced using various types of cannulas, and showed a kind of adherence to the regulations and personal hygiene. This contributed to enhancing practical experience and consolidating both theoretical and clinical understanding.
The workshop concluded by highlighting the importance of adhering to occupational safety standards during clinical training and emphasizing the role of these activities in honing the practical skills of the students and raising their academic and practical competence , which serves the future work environment.
