The dental clinics at the College of Dentistry, University of Alkafeel , held a periodic meeting for the Surgery course on Monday,30 March 2026. The meeting was attended by faculty members, teaching assistants, and the Assistant Director of the Dental Clinics, Asst. Lect. Hussam Saleh Mahdi.
The meeting discussed the requirements for organizing work in the outpatient clinics to enhance performance and improve the level of services provided to patients, while emphasizing the application of safety and disease prevention measures.
Students were also instructed to adhere to health guidelines by wearing medical gloves and aprons, and carrying identification badges. Furthermore, the importance of continuous sterilization and cleaning of work areas was stressed to maintain public safety and prevent infectious diseases.
The attendees emphasized the role of faculty members in monitoring students and ensuring their adherence to preventive measures, as well as maintaining medical equipment and dental chairs within the clinics.
The meeting recommended strengthening adherence to safety procedures, organizing work to ensure service quality, monitoring students regarding sterilization and hygiene, and emphasizing compliance with the dress code and approved guidelines.
