Prof. Dr. Nawras Muhammad Shahid Al-Dahan, the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the university, in cooperation with the College of Medical and Health Technologies, held a cultural ceremony on the heritage of our Iraqi governorates on Tuesday, 8/3/2022, in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Nawras Muhammad Shahid Al-Dahan and Mr. Assistant Dr. Firas Kamel Muhammad Al-Asfoor Assistant to the President of the University for Administrative Affairs, the scientific and administrative assistants in the college and the lecturer, Dr. Enas Jassem Muhammad Al-Drougi, the assistant head of the Psychological Counseling Department, and a number of the teaching staff, the counseling staff and the students.The ceremony began with verses from the Holy Quran and the speech of the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the College of Medical and Health Technologies, followed by poetry and article posts by the students of the college about the authenticity of the heritage of the Iraqi provinces

The lecturer, Dr. Enas  Jassim Muhammad Al-Drougi, stated that the ceremony evoked the national values   and the authenticity of the heritage that was celebrated by the dear homeland and in a manner that embodies the university’s message in promoting the principles of love and belonging to the homeland in the hearts of its students and exerting the most precious  for its advancement

It is noteworthy that this activity came within the activities of the Cultural Week Festival, which is held by the university for the period 5-9 March, coinciding with the birth of the Al-Aqmar Alhashimia.
