As part of the strategic plans the university of Alkafeel pursued to improve the quality and products of the higher education and scientific research, there was a remarkable progress this year 2023 at the level of local and international rankings to hit 59 locally and 6550 globally . Such manifests that the rank of the university surpassed 407 globally and 3 locally more than last year.
Such a progress comes as a result of the plans developed by the university presidency , specialized cadres and continuous efforts in publishing scientific articles, scientific journals, and the culture of scientific research, to promote the university in advanced global rankings.
The Webometrics classification is the largest global university evaluation system issued by the Spanish Higher Council for Scientific Research to covering more than 20,000 universities and review 16,000 of them.
The goal of Webometrics is to augment the presence of institutions of higher education and scientific research on the Internet, to encourage the publication of peer-reviewed scientific articles in an open access way , free access available to everyone to the article or book without any restrictions ,without paying any subscription fees in the database or journal.
It is noteworthy that the Webometrics World Ranking is a semi-annual evaluation that is issued in January and July of each year, and based on observing the performance of universities via websites.
