University of Alkafeel University Receiving “Muhammad Taqi Al-Khoei Coeducational Primary School and Al-Ajyal Foundation for Technological Empowerment”

    The Faculty of Medicine at University of Alkafeel hosted the Muhammad Taqi Al-Khoei Coeducational Primary School in Najaf Governorate, and as part of Sinbad’s Educational Journey organized by the Al-Ajyal Foundation for Technological Empowerment Coding 4Kids IRAQ in partnership with Asiacell Communications. There was a workshop, lectured by Mr. Ali Al-Zubaidi, for Alpha Generation under the title “Utilizing Artificial Intelligence in Oceans ” on Saturday 7 October 2023 with the participation of a group of male and female students, who are gifted with robotic technology. Al-Zubaidi said during his talk to the university website: “The workshop is highly specialized in artificial intelligence for the Alpha generation, the technological generation, and invests ages from 10 years to 18 years. Teaching them technological skills in programming artificial intelligence, as using these skills , will serve them in future jobs. He explained that a university degree is not sufficient at the present time, empowering and activating these skills in children will be a part of enhancing education. During the workshop, students were also trained on computer basics. (Inputs, processor, outputs, computer language, algorithms), and how to employ artificial intelligence to the ocean to separate waste from aquatic organisms, as artificial intelligence depends on two basic steps (training and testing), as well as interactive activities to teach children to program robots and how to understand its entity in a stimulating learning environment.

       At the conclusion of the workshop, the guests and students toured the electro-biological laboratory in the College of Medicine, to motivate them to learn, expand perceptions, develop intelligence , form practical ideas, and to achieve educational and pedagogical goals that are desired to be inculcated in the child’s behavior, culture, and personality.
