The University of Alkafeel rector , Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, Vice-rector for scientific affairs , Asst.Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, and distinguished deans received the rector of Al-Muthanna University, Prof.Dr. Hussein Kamel Al-Shaher and his assistants on Monday 9 October 2023 to sign a joint scientific collaboration agreement between the two universities  Al-Kafeel and Al-Muthanna to exchange experiences, means of education, plans, and techniques that work to promote academic work. The professor welcomed the guests, and during the meeting he gave a brief explanation of the colleges, their scientific departments, their study programs, and their scientific and research plans and referred to the projects and visions of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine and its interest in education and information technology.

    During the inspection tour, the delegation was briefed on the  scientific colleges, advanced classrooms, educational medical laboratories, infrastructure, and the systems used at the university to provide the appropriate scientific atmosphere.

    The President of Al-Muthanna University, Prof.Dr. Al-Shaher, told the university media: “University of Alkafeel is ranked to the advanced universities though it is newly established . It is an integrated university and possesses devices and equipment from international origins. We are proud to have such an Iraqi university with such advanced capabilities to provide service to the country,” . Also, he noted that the visit was to sign joint academic collaboration between Alkafeel and Al-Muthanna to augment scientific efficiency and international ranking.

    Professor Al-Dahan manifested : “The delegation was briefed on the various facilities, especially the developments, infrastructure, and systems in place, which is in line with reputable international universities . He added that Al-Muthanna University will be provided with some advanced systems that were designed by Iraqi hands : the Al-Siraj program for university management and manages the university electronically.”

  At the end , the delegation expressed its admiration for the scientific modern progress and mechanisms done in the university followed, which keep pace with the requirements of the times.

The delegation concluded its observation tour by signing a joint collaboration agreement on scientific and research aspects and mutual supervision of graduate students ,which serves scientific and academic development.
