Dr. Hadi Hussein Al-Karaawi from the College of Jurisprudence at the University of Kufa and Prof. Fadhil Abbas Hassan from the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Dhi Qar presented a research paper : "Historicity of Jurisprudential Rulings in Narrations of Imam Ali (Peace be upon him)" during their participation in the session of the Imam Ali Scientific Conference at Al-Kafeel University. The conference was organized as a part of the Second International Imamate Seven Days , with participation from researchers and scholars from various parts of the world, as entitled "Prophethood and Imamate: Two Single-Rooted Palm Trees beyond Chasm” to educate Individual and Nation," as of June 27, 2024, to July 4, 2024.
In their abstract , Al-Karaawi emphasized the importance of studying the history of jurisprudential rulings, noting that the research reveals changes that have occurred in some rulings over time. The study focuses on extracting the essence from the words of Imam Ali (Peace be upon him) to enhance and renew jurisprudential research to keep pace with modern challenges.
