Today, Friday, June 28, 2024, the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine concluded the Imam Ali (Peace be upon him) Scientific Conference as a part of the Second International Imamate Seven Days at the University of Alkafeel.
There weas an extensive participation of scholars , researchers , attendance of the Secretary-General of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine and officials from the educational and academic bodies.
The conference activities focused on several key themes, including the impact of Imam Ali's (Peace be upon him) narrations on Quranic and interpretative sciences, religious and moral education, and discussions on psychological and cultural education. The conference was on the slogan "Prophethood and Imamate: Two Single-Rooted Palm Trees beyond Chasm” to emphasize the role of the Ahlalbayt (Peace be upon them) in addressing contemporary challenges and highlighting their influence in resolving intellectual issues. The conference is opened with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran for the martyrs of Iraq, and concluded with extensive and in-depth discussions of the research papers presented on these themes. The goal was to enhance understanding of the authentic Islamic heritage and to develop scientific and intellectual comprehension.
