The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at the University of Alkafeel organized a mourning ceremony on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, in commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Al-Sajjad Zein Al-Abidin (peace be upon him). The ceremony was held in the chancellery and attended by the administrative teaching staff and university personnel .

    The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reciter.Ahmed Al-Zamili. Then, Sheikh. Hafidh Al-Dajili ascended the podium to discuss in his lecture the life of Imam Al-Sajjad (peace be upon him) and his prominent role in the Battle of Karbala, highlighting his profound impact on Islam and Muslims after the martyrdom of his father, Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

  Sheikh. Al-Dajili tackled the social and humanitarian role of Imam Zain Al-Abidin(peace be upon him), as he was a model of mercy, compassion, and help with the poor and the needy. He also shed light on his intellectual and guidance efforts in raising awareness in the community and directing people towards proper moral and Islamic values through the establishment of the Al-Sadiqein , Al-Baqir and Al-Sadiq (peace be upon them). He also reviewed his guiding role in confronting moral and social deviations and the Umayyad project that threatened the existence of Islam.

   The ceremony concluded with poignant poetic verses that addressed the tragedy of Imam Al-Sajjad Zain Al-Abidin (peace be upon him) and a sorrowful atmosphere prevails in the hearts of the believers.
