University of Alkafeel Celebrating the Birth Anniversary of the Greatest Messenger with Orphans and Children of Al-Raja Institute

The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel organized a religious celebration on Saturday, September 21, 2024, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Greatest Messenger Muhammad (PBUH), as part of the ninth annual celebration held by the university on this occasion. The celebration was attended by the respected rector of the University, Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, a group of deans , heads of departmentsand university students. The orphans of Al-Ain Foundation , the children of Al-Raja Institute for Mental Disability and children with Down Syndrome were present at the celebration.

    The ceremony began with a blessed recitation from Glorious Quran by Sheikh. Mahdi Qalandar, then there was a video viewing the honorable chronicle of the Prophet and highlighting Al-Aqsa Mosque, one of the important Islamic landmarks and its role in the Isra and Mi'raj journey. The video also touched on the violations that Al-Aqsa Mosque issuffering from the occupation and the necessity of preserving and defending this holy place.

    The celebration also witnessed a distinguished participation by student Zahraa Hussein from the Department of Anesthesia at the College of Health and Medical Technologiesin showing an artistic painting that embodied the suffering of the children of Gaza. Students Ahmed Al-Hatimi from the College of Health and Medical Technologies, and Abdul Muntadhar Al-Hussaini from the College of Medicine, also presented a religious chants and hymns that were well received by the attendees.

    At the end of the celebration, the orphans of Al-Ain Foundation and the children of Al-Raja Institute were honored in appreciation of their role and special needs. The University rector laid importance on the religious and moral dutyto support these groups of society and work to integrate them by providing moral and material help.
