The College of Medical and Health Technologies at the University of Alkafeel organized an awareness event on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, in recognition of World Sepsis Day, which falls on the first of October .
The event aimed to raise public health awareness about sepsis, one of the most dangerous medical conditions leading to serious complications : death, if not addressed swiftly and effectively. During the event, a collection of informative posters and images was displayed throughout the college, highlighting the common signs and symptoms of sepsis, preventive measures, and the importance of early detection and rapid treatment.
The organizers emphasized that this event is part of the university efforts to promote health awareness in the community, reinforcing the significance of preventing infectious diseases to improve public health and reduce infection rates.
