The College of Medical and Health Technologies Council at the University of Alkafeel held a periodical meeting on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, chaired by Prof. Dr. Fadhil Ismail Sharad, the college dean . The meeting focused on various academic and administrative matters relevant to the college.
At the very outset, the dean welcomed the members and praised their efforts in supporting the educational process. Key topics discussed included the proposal to form a central examination committee to oversee the smooth workflow of the exams and ensure their adherence to academic standards.
The meeting also addressed the formation of departmental councils, emphasizing the need to activate their role in improving academic and administrative performance. Additionally, student requests for deferral of the academic year were reviewed, and several were approved based on the applicable regulations. The council also ratified the second-term success rates for second-year students in all the departments after reviewing the results and related reports.
In conclusion, Prof. Dr. Fadhil Ismail stressed the importance of implementing the approved recommendations, reaffirming the council commitment to achieving academic goals and advancing the educational process at the college.
