The College of Technical Engineering at university of Alkafeel organized a site visit to the nursing home in Al-Jamia neighborhood in Najaf Governorate on Saturday 10/12/2024. The visit came as a step to promote the human and social values, with the aim of providing psychological and moral support to the elderly and enhancing the values of respect and appreciation for them.
The college staff and students participated in the visittried their best to offer psychological and social support to the elderly and the staff of the home and to equipthem with some important supplies. The visit witnessed a positive interaction from the elderly, who expressed their happiness and gratitude for this humanitarian gesture. The students also expressed their thanks to the deanery of the College for organizing such an event that solidify the moral values and mutual respect between the segments of society.
At the end of the visit, it was emphasized that it is necessary to organize periodic visits to the nursing home, and to encourage more students to participate in community service activities, which contributes to building a cooperative and sympathetic society. The College of Engineering Technology continues its efforts to promote human and social values through effective initiatives that benefit the community.
