The College of Pharmacy at University of Alkafeel organized a seminar on Monday, 10/14/2024 : "Nanofibers as Drug Transfer System", presented by Asst. Lect.Mukhtar Abdul Sattar Al-Janabi, in Sheikh.al-Balaghy Hall at 10:30 am.
The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of nanoscience and the role of nanofibers as one of the advanced and pioneering systems in various fields, especially in the pharmaceutical industry. Al-Janabi provided a comprehensive explanation of the types of nanofibers and how to manufacture them using electrospinning technology and reviewing the factors that affect the manufacturing process.
The seminar discussed the importance of nanofibers in the pharmaceutical industry and how they can be used to find solutions to many of the challenges facing some pharmaceutical compositions , especially with regard to solubility problems. It also touched on the various applications of nanofibers in various industrial fields and the most prominent benefits they provide.
