On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her), the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel conducted , on Wednesday 6/11/2024, a cultural Quranic cultural symposium : "Patience:  Quranic Concept as Important in Dealing with life pressures” , its representations in the chronicle of Lady Zainab al-Kubra (peace be upon her)". This was in collaboration with the Holy Quran Institute in Najaf, affiliated with the Scientific Complex for the Holy Quran at the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, and under the parasol of the project of Quranic seminars in universities.

    The lecture was presented by His Eminence Sheikh. Zaman Al-Hasnawi, who reviewed in his speech how the concept of patience is embodied in the Holy Quran, stressing the importance of this principle in dealing with the life challenges and pressures. He also discussed the biography of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her), as a living example of the power of patience in the face of crises.

    Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussam Ali Al-Obaidi, Director of the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel , stressed in his speech the importance of such events in helping students acquire psychological and spiritual skills to deal with the pressures of daily life. He pointed out that the university always seeks to enhance cooperation with the Holy Quran Institute to activate Quranic projects aimed at building the personality of the student in a balanced manner.

    For his part, Mr. Al-Fadhl Abbas, Head of the Quranic Activities Unit at the Holy Quran Institute, expressed the importance of this program in promoting Quranic values between students, emphasizing that this seminar is part of the student Quranic seminars program held on the anniversary of the birth of Lady Zainab, peace be upon her, and is in its fifth session.

    One of its main missions is to provide students with Quranic knowledge about the importance of patience in their daily lives, and how to apply this value in the face of difficulties and challenges. It also focuses on enhancing religious and educational awareness between students through lessons learned from the life of Lady Zainab, peace be upon her, which embodied the greatest images of patience and perseverance.

    This symposium comes as part of a series of student activities that aim to upgrade the Islamic values in the university community, and motivate students to benefit from Quranic concepts in their personal and academic lives.
