The Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Medical and Health Technology at University of Alkafeel organized an important awareness lecture on "Ovarian Cysts and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome". The lecture was held on Tuesday, 11/26/2024, and was delivered by Lect. Dr. Muntaha Abdullah Rishan.
The lecture aims to increase the awareness of the woman about the differences between ovarian cysts and polycystic ovary syndrome, highlighting the symptoms and causative factors of each condition, and the importance of early diagnosis. The lecture also included a comprehensive presentation, awareness brochures and short videos and an interactive question and answer session.
The doctor concluded the lecture with providing advice on health management for patients with these conditions, the importance of periodic medical examinations and prevention of ovarian-related diseases to prevent gynecological diseases, and urging them to adopt a healthy lifestyle to maintain health.
