The College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel organized a specialized workshop : "OSCE Workshop", in collaboration with the Iraqi Doctors Network and the British Royal College in London. The workshop activities began on Monday, January 13, 2025, and continued until Tuesday, January 14, 2025, with the participation of a group of prominent academic and medical figures.

    The workshop Showed the attendance of a number of professors and deans of medical colleges from various Iraqi universities, whether in person or on electronic platforms to exchange experiences and enhancing academic cooperation.There was a focus on improving the skills of teaching staff in conducting OSCE (station-based clinical examinations), which is one of the modern assessment methods in medical colleges. Half of the workshop time was allocated to practical training, which gave participants the opportunity to apply the acquired knowledge directly and effectively.

    The workshop received official recognition from the British Royal College, and participants were awarded accredited certificates, which highlights the importance of the workshop in improving the quality of medical education in Iraq. Organizing such a workshop falls within the remit of the ongoing efforts of University of Alkafeel to enhance medical education and develop teaching staff, in line with the latest international standards. The participants expressed their appreciation for this initiative, praising the level of organization and scientific content of the workshop, which directly contributes to improving the level of medical education in Iraq.
