Asst. Prof.Dr. Ali Jassim Al-Amiri, Dean of the College of Technical Engineering at University of Alkafeel , received a delegation from the College of Engineering / Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Kufa, which included a group of teaching staff and students of the department, on Thursday, 2/6/2025.

    The visit aimed to view the infrastructure of Alkafeel University: buildings under construction, classrooms, laboratories, corridors, and university gardens.

    Prof.Dr. Al-Amiri welcomed the visiting delegation, conveying the greetings of the university chancellor , and stressing the University of Alkafeel welcome to such scientific visits that contribute to enhancing academic cooperation and exchange of experiences.

    The tour included : the construction of modern buildings, details of ongoing projects, and the technologies used in constructing classrooms, ; including thermal and sound insulation. The laboratories equipped with the latest educational tools and interactive technologies were also viewed.

    Dr. Saad Al-Wazni, representative of the College of Engineering / Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Kufa, praised the warm reception and the importance of the visit in introducing students to the practical applications of the curricula, and observing the latest construction and furnishing methods in university facilities. He also stressed the importance of these visits in connecting students to the practical field and enhancing their awareness of modern technologies.

For his part, Zaid Basem Sami, one of the participating students in the department, explained that the visit was a fruitful opportunity to learn about the details of field work, pointing to the remarkable progress at the University of Alkafeel and its growing academic position.

    The visit concluded with thanks to the University of Alkafeel for hospitality, stressing the importance of continuing these visits that contribute to developing the scientific and practical skills of students.
