Under the patronage of the University chancellor , Prof.Dr.Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, the College of Medicine, in collaboration with the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation , organized a celebration on the occasion of the birth of the awaited Imam , may Allah expedite his honorable resurrection , on Monday, February 17, 2025.

    The event was attended by a number of professors and affiliates, and students to celebrate this blessed occasion in an atmosphere filled with joy and happiness.

    The ceremony began with a blessed recitation from Glorious Quran by student Ali Muslim Shaker, then the preacher seid. Sadiq Al-Marouj gave a religious lecture in which he discussed the biography of the awaited Imam (may Allah expedite his honorable resurrection) and the importance of preparing for his blessed appearance by adhering to the values of the Ahlalbayt (peace be upon them). In a statement, Asst.Prof.Dr. Dr. Hussam Ali Hassan Al-Obaidi, Director of the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at the University, said: "This event is a part of the commitment the university plans to promoting religious and spiritual values among its students, and instilling the lofty moral principles that are a fundamental pillar in building the personality of the university student."

    The event concluded with a prayer for salvation and a request for goodness and blessings for all believers. University of Alkafeel affirmed its commitment to supporting these events that solidify religious values, and the spirit of faith, and instill lofty moral principles in the souls of its students.
