Lifelong Learning Centre at University of Alkafeel organized a workshop for faculty members on Monday, October 20, 2025, on the use of the Al-Siraj University Management System, to enhance digital teaching skills and improve the quality of the educational process.
The workshop program included practical lectures and discussions on the system components and how to manage student data, class schedules, examination committees, and distance learning, and present mechanisms for linking e-learning platforms with academic information records in the institution. Al-Siraj is an integrated administrative and educational system that combines student information management systems and e-learning systems and is used as a fundamental step in the digitization of educational institutions.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Ali Abdul Zahra, Director of Information Technology Department at University of Alkafeel , who addressed the technical aspects, infrastructure management, and technical support for smart classrooms, and Engr. Muhammad Jawad Kadhim, who provided practical explanations on operating system units, managing electronic content, and monitoring student interaction through the platform. The participants emphasized the importance of such training workshops in developing the skills of the faculty members in digital education and enhancing their ability to effectively manage the educational process with modern technological systems.
