The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel , in cooperation with the College of Engineering Technology, organized an educational orientation lecture : " Requirements of Adapting to University Environment" on Monday, January 26, 2026.
The lecture was presented by Asst.Prof.Dr. Hussam Ali Hassan Al-Obaidi, who highlighted the most important requirements for psychological and social adaptation in the university environment, given its direct impact on the success of the students and their academic and behavioral stability.
The lecture addressed several key themes : fostering positive relationships among colleagues and the importance of mutual respect, cooperation, and acceptance of differences as fundamental pillars for building a healthy university environment. Emphasis was also placed on proper conduct on campus and methods for managing conflicts consciously, preserving individual dignity and group cohesion.
The lecturer also clarified permissible actions that promote discipline and adherence to university values, and prohibit actions that could harm students or disrupt university order and academic values.
