College of Engineering Technology Organizes Innovation & Entrepreneurship Exhibition as Part of GEW

     As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the College of Engineering Technology at University of Alkafeel  organized an Entrepreneurship and Innovation Exhibition. The event was attended by the University President, Prof. Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, Vice-Chancellor for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, the Dean of the College of Engineering Technology, Asst.Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Amiri, and a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, headed by Asst. Prof.Dr. Khalid Imran Ali, Chairman of the Committee for Monitoring Global Entrepreneurship Week Activities, a number of faculty members and students. The exhibition took place on Monday, 9 February 2026.

    The exhibition was organized to emphasize the commitment of university to supporting student creativity, promoting a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation, and linking academic outcomes to practical applications that meet the demands of the labor market and contribute to serving the community.

    The attendees viewed the projects of students from the Computer Engineering Technology Department, which included innovative technological and entrepreneurial projects, prototypes, and smart solutions. These projects reflected the advanced scientific level of the students and their ability to transform theoretical ideas into promising practical applications. In his address on this occasion, the Dean of the College of Engineering Technology, Dr. Ali Al-Amiri, emphasized that this exhibition serves as a genuine platform to showcase the creative talents of the department students. He noted that the college places great importance on supporting entrepreneurial initiatives and encouraging students to innovate and work collaboratively, in line with the university vision and objectives of preparing graduates capable of competing and actively contributing to development.

     Moreover , he pointed out that the exhibition is not merely a display of projects, but rather a comprehensive educational experience that cultivates students' presentation skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and practical application. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exhibition will continue for a full week in the halls of the College of Engineering Technology, providing students and visitors with the opportunity to view projects, exchange experiences, and enhance academic and technical communication.
