The College of Pharmacy at the University of Alkafeel hosted a seminar on "Sustainable Development" on Sunday, February 11, 2024, focusing on efforts to achieve sustainable development and create sustainable job opportunities. The lecture, presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mohsen Al-Rufaie, Director of the Lifelong Learning Center, highlighted the role of technology and innovation in stimulating economic growth and creating sustainable jobs. The discussion emphasized the importance of inclusive economic growth and providing job opportunities for all. The seminar also addressed unemployment globally and in the Arab region, showcasing global and Arab initiatives to leverage youth capabilities and make use of the unemployed, including the "Riadah" initiative launched by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani to employ job seekers.
