Res.Dr. Batool Arandas discussed the social thought emphasized by the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (Peace be upon him), at the Imam Ali Scientific Conference organized by the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine at the University of Alkafeel. Dr. Arandas' research, titled "Imam Ali's Approach and Balance in the Islamic Personality," focused on the role of social justice and human rights as foundational principles for applying Imam Ali's teachings to daily life. In her abstract , Dr. Arandas asserted that Imam Ali's teachings, derived from the Quran and Sunnah, remain a model that should be studied to enhance the values of justice and balance in modern societies. She highlighted that Imam Ali was among the earliest figures to support the unity of the Ummah and emphasized the importance of the community's role in achieving social justice and societal cohesion.
The conference, held from June 27, 2024, to July 4, 2024, witnessed the participation of scholars and researchers from around the world to discuss the values and principles established by the Imams in educating individuals and the nation, with a focus on justice and balance as the foundation for achieving personal and social development.
