The College of Health and Medical Technologies at the University of Alkafeel organized a workshop : “Genetics and Human Personality" on Monday, September 30, 2024, presented by Asst. Lect. Amir Haidar Razzaq. The workshop aimed to highlight the impact of genetic and environmental factors in the formation and development of human personality.
During the workshop, the lecturer reviewed the concept of genetics and its fundamental role in shaping human personality, emphasizing the importance of genes and their interaction with the external environment in developing an individual’s personality traits. He also discussed prominent opinions of scientists and thinkers regarding the influence of genetic and environmental factors on various personality traits.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the lecturer pointed out the importance of a deep understanding of the role of genetics and environment in dealing with different personalities, especially in applied fields such as psychology and psychiatry. It was recommended that further studies be conducted to integrate genetics and environment to gain a deeper understanding of the interactions that affect human personality.
