Under the patronage of Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, President of University of Alkafeel , and on the slogan "Scientific Research: Authenticity and Creativity," the Fifth Student Scientific Conference at University of Alkafeel concluded. The conference began on Tuesday morning, April 15, 2025, with wide participation from a number of Iraqi public universities.

The sessions were attended by a number of academic figures, faculty members, and students from the participating universities. A number of Iraqi universities were represented at the conference through their colleges, as follows: (University of Baghdad: College of Pharmacy; University of Kufa: Colleges of Pharmacy, Dentistry, and Law; University of Karbala: Colleges of Pharmacy and Dentistry; Jabir ibn Hayyan Medical University: College of Pharmacy; University of Alkafeel : Colleges of Pharmacy, Dentistry, Medicaland Health Technologies, Technical Engineering, and Law).

The conference activities continued over two days, witnessing the presentation and discussion of a large number of distinguished graduation projects in medical, engineering, and legal specialties, amidst significant interaction from the attendees and a solid academic level, reflecting the commitment of the University to supporting student energies and developing their research and scientific capabilities.

At the conclusion of the conference, a ceremony was held to honor the students who won the award for their research projects for the 2024-2025 academic year, in recognition of their outstanding efforts and to encourage them to continue on the path of scientific innovation.

For her part, Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, vice-chancellor for academic affairs, emphasized that the Student Scientific Conference becomes an annualwell-established tradition at University of Alkafeel , noting that the university is committed to providing a productive academic environment that fosters the spirit of scientific research and innovation among students. She added that this event represents an important platform for honing the skills of the students and encouraging them to produce applicable scientific research that contributes to serving society and meeting its needs. She emphasized the importance of the role of universities in building a qualified academic generation capable of leading positive change in various fields.

Such a conference reflects the strategic direction of the university to support the applied scientific research and engage students with developing realistic solutions to societal problems, thus enhancing the position of university in the Iraqi scientific and academic landscape.
