Under the patronage of the President of Al-Kafeel University, Prof. Dr. Nawras Muhammad Shahid Al-Dahan, Al-Kafeel University hosted the Annual Event: Devfest Najaf 2021 Organised by GDG Najaf Team on Wednesday 20/10/2021. In the presence of Asst. Prof. Ali Jassim Al-Amiri, Dean of the College of Engineering at Al-Kafeel University, and the participation of a number of students from Iraqi colleges as well as young people  interested in this field.

The program included three workshops, the first workshop entitled: The Concept of the Internet of Things and Architecture, was presented by Eng. Karim Ghazi Faisal. The lecturerer demonstrated the LOT applications and their benefits, focusing on the practical application on Arduino devices.

As for the second workshop entitled: The National Robotics Championship in Iraq, and its concepts which was presented by Eng. Wael Abbas Al-Akaishi . It included a practical application to robotics.

Whereas the third workshop entitled: Using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for the Protection of People Against Cyberbullying, was demonstrated by Eng. Hawraa Al-Milany. The engineer referred to the new security methods that large technology companies are working on to control cyberbullying.  

The attendees praised the workshops held, describing them as a successful experience at Al-Kafeel University, which resulted in a scientific and knowledge enrichment.

At the end of the workshops, the attendees expressed their appreciation to the University for providing the necessary capabilities and equipment for the success of such scientific events, hoping that such successful workshops to be held repeatedly in Al-Kafeel University.
